This is a story, about a brother and sister bond stronger than anything else. These two who were in the Jiang family, were both talented and spiritful. Always looking out for each other. but, at a young age, they both lost their father. Now only with their mother, at Tian Shui, in the areas where Wei rules, they train to become the greatest team in the three Kingdoms!
Their names are... Jiang Wei, the oldest brother by two minutes. His brilliant mind could surpass the great Zhuge Liang, and he is loyal to the heart. He will never back down a fight, and always helps his sister.
The next, is Jiang Ai, the youngest sister by two mnutes, and very beautiful. She is very talented with a sword and very quick. Ai is almost the exact double of Jiang Wei, if she just tied her hair up, and dressed in his clothes, even Zhuge Liang or Sima Yi won't tell a difference. She is true at heart, and always listens to her brother.
This is their life. Starting out in Wei, in the battle of Tian Shui, aginst Shu. Little does the two know, Zhuge Liang isn't after the land, but after the young Jiang Wei.
"Jiang Ai!" Wei yelled out standing full height,
"What?" panted Jiang Ai, who was slouching a little, her sword at her side.
"I'm not sure... but I have a bad feeling about this battle. I want you to stay near the main camp. I will go track down Zhuge Liang and rid of him. Understood?" Wei asked.
"Yes, I will protect the castle with my life... please be okay." Ai said, standing straight.
"I will... be carfull. Shu is nothing to laugh about... I'm off, good luck sis." Wei yelled running off.
"Good luck to you too!" she yelled after him, and took her position. Jiang Ai gazed at the three paths.
"Left... front and right... I'm going to have troubles if... WHOA!" Jiang Ai jumped, when an arrow pasted her head. She looked around wide eyed. She saw an old man, with a bow in hand, and a quiver at his back.
"Hahaha! You have fast reflexes little lady!" the man said and fitting another arrow.
"We could use that type of swiftness in Shu!" he pulled back the string. In one flash, the arrow was split in two.
"Now that was amazing! Whats your name little lady?" the old man asked. Jiang Ai had her sword out, the arrow was split in two, down the middle, which amazed even her. Ai barely got what the mn said.
"... wh-whats your name first, then I'll tell." Ai called back.
"My names' Huang Zhong." he said.
"Well, my name is Jiang Ai! Sister of Jiang Wei!" She said, and got into her fighting stance.
"And I won't back down from a fight!" she finished.
"Now thats the spirit! I'll teach you a lession or two about true swordsmen ship!" Huang Zhong yelled pulling out a big blade. They both charged at each other. Ai was low to the ground, swift as a rabbit. She was aiming for Huang Zhongs legs. There was a clash of metal, and Ai relized her mark didn't come true. She was right behind Huang Zhong.
"Hahaha... ha... you almost got me there little lady. You've been practicing. How old are you?" Zhong asked turning around.
"I'm about eighteen... why?" she asked, turning around.
"Thats young. You are quick with your sword." Huang Zhong ran forward, and Ai ducked under the blade, the tip or her hair was sliced, and he kicked her back. She clutched her stomich and then ran forward. Insted, she was looking at Huang Zhongs legs, being low again, but when he went to block again, she sliced his shoulder.
"Argg!!! ... you got me... I give up, my old bone are getting slow. I'll be waiting for a rematch, little lady." Huang Zhong then ran away. Jiang Ai sighed, and looke dup. She saw soldiers from the enemy coming from all directions.
"No one said it was easy..." she muttered and placed her hand in front of her, and her sword in front of her face. Jiang Ai ran forward.
Slashing down two soldiers, and looked up.
"Be swift, if we hurry, we can get the enemy off guard." Jiang Wei told his troops, and ran forward, fallowed by the five soldiers that were under his orders. Jiang Wei was chasing Wei Yan.
"Why isn't he attacking?" he muttered, still chasing.
"yes... now we will act. Block the path to the main castle, and take the remaining two." Zhuge Liang ordered the task units. The Task Leader nodded, and gathered his troops before running towards the shortcut behind Jiang Wei who was still chasing Wei Yan. There was a loud blast, and rocks tumbled from the cliff on the oppisite side where the task unit made a rock fall.
"No!" Wei gasped turing around. He then looked around.
"I've been a fool! They've seperated me and Tian Shui castle... Oh Jiang Ai, be carful!" he prayed and ran forward. He cut down five enemy guards blocking his way. Jiang Wei stopped and looked back at the fallen rocks and gave a short sigh. Wei looked at the past a head of him. Enemy soldiers, nonstop. Shaking his head he turned off path and headed towards the enemy mian camp. He knew this place well, and there are three paths. If he timed this right, Wei would be able to get his sister out of danger quickly.
Jiang Ai cut down enemy after enemy.
"No... this can't be happening!" she yelled and pushed forward. She had heard a loud bang from over where Jiang Wei was. She cut down a few more and ran forward, ignoring the screams and yells of the enemy around her. She tripped after about ten minutes of running. She didn't fall purposly, but some one did it. Looking above her, she saw a tall young woman, she was older than Ai though.
"No one shall pass here!" the girl spat. Un able to move, and she rolled over to avoid the sythe of her enemy. She closed her eyes when she felt pain across her back and shoulder. There was a long, deep cut, and she was amazed how much blood passed through it already.
"not dead?" the woman lifted her scythe and Ai closed her eyes, expecting the hit, but never came. She did hear, beyond the yells of the battle, a clash of metal. She looked up to see Jiang Wei, in a dead lock.
"Jiang Ai... you... ok?" Wei panted.
"Why are you tired?! was looking for you! and... I'm... not sure!" Ai trie to get up, but every time she attempted to do so, pain went across her back and shoulder.
"Oh, so you are Jiang Wei... and you have a sister! I have my orders." The girl smiled, and ended the deadlock and stepped away with a smile. Jiang Wei was confused.
"What do you mean?!" he comanded.
"You'll learn soon enough." the woman smiled again and ran off.
"What was that all about?" Ai asked.
"I...I do not know, Jiang ai... Let me see that wound." Wei said and walked behind his sister. The wound was indeed deep.
"Ow... ow.... ow... stop! That hurts!" Ai yelled banding her fist on the ground. Then she heard a soft laugh. Both Jiangs looked to the left, seeing Zhuge Liang.
"I see you have lost track of your suroundings, young Jiang Wei." Zhuge Liang said, fanning himself. Wei leaned close to Jiang Ai's ear.
"Please sit still." Wei whispered quietly, and she nodded. He grabbed his trident and got up. He was infront of Ai protectivly.
"You won't take me or Jiang Ai with out a fight!" Wei challenged Zhuge Liang.
"Oh? you have a sister? well, as they say, family before self. I'm ready to test your skills." Zhuge Liang said calmly. They both jumped at each other, and Jiang Ai was holding her shoulder where the wound began at.
"Come on Jiang Wei! Show this old man whos boss!" Ai cheered for her brother.
"What?" Liang took a step away from Wei and stared at Ai. Wei saw his chance and lunged forward, but when metal hit feathers, he failed. Zhuge Liang twisted his feathered fan and made the trident fall. He picked it up, and aimed it at Jiang Wei.
"Almost, but not close enough. Submit to me." Zhuge Liang said. Wei looked at his sister who stared back.
He closed his eyes.
"Fine..." he whispered and Ai gasped.
"I subbmit too!" she added quickly before Jiang Wei said anything else.
"I'm sorry, Jiang ai, but I only came for Jiang Wei. I want to pass everything I know onto him." Zhuge liang said. Wei's eyes widen.
"Am I.... Am I worthy of such honor?" he asked. Then got up.
"Buut she comes with me. Jiang Ai and I never seperate, never." Wei added.
"Very well. Now let us shine the way... to a brighter futur...." Zhuge Liang said raising his fan. Ai gapped.
'what did he just say?' she thought and got up, with the support or Jiang Wei.
